Job Information

Responsible for technical support and individual contributions in a group engaged in the maintenance and development of all software associated with the support, manufacture and operation of the fuel cell powerplants. Includes but is not limited to power plant controls, (PLCs) Human Machine Interface software (HMI), and other programmable control components. May individually contribute or participate in software or multi-disciplinary teams and collaboration with equipment designers and hardware engineers engaged in the design, development, and utilization of power plant related software. Responsible for smaller projects or multiple tasks within the software discipline.

Role & Responsibility

• Experience in PLC programming with C,C++, C# experience

• Requires technical experience with and understanding of software as a discipline, and technical software support and development requirements in a manufacturing environment

• Normally works with moderate guidance on projects and assignments with short-term focus

• Understands and applies root cause techniques to seek and secure optimal problem resolution

• Continuing to develop specialized knowledge

• Asks the right questions to assess a situation accurately

• Generates alternative solutions for consideration when defined paths meet resistance.

• Develops plans that anticipate achievement and delivery of short and long-term assignments.

• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.

• Drives productive achievements and change by effectively utilizing established software solutions to achieve assignment targets.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

• BA/BS degree with 5-10+/ MA/MS degree with 2-5+/ PhD degree with 0-2+ years of experience

• Clear and concise oral and written communications

• Ability and experience understanding and executing to meet customer requirements

• Ability and experience working with a diverse group of technical and business-focused individuals and groups.

• Good tactical delivery software skills

• Effective technical software data control, process and systems understanding and implementation experience.

• Excellent organizational skills

• Results driven

• Strong computer/systems skills
