Energy Technology Instructor
Days; M – F; On-Site
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start in January 2023 (Spring Semester) within the Energy Technology program. This is a full-time, 9-month annual contracts, exempt, and benefit eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of five years of experience in the Energy and Power Industry. Bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one. Excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following energy areas; fossil fuels, nuclear, hydro, wind or solar. Teaching/training experience.
Job Responsibilities: This position would teach topics that may include heat transfer, fluid flow and thermodynamics; plant equipment and systems; mechanical and fluid power transmission; industrial motors and controls; and boilers and environmental protection.
