Richard Heath & Associates, Inc. (RHA) is currently seeking a talented professional for the following opportunity in the
Los Angeles area:
Energy Engineer
The Energy Engineer will function as a technical resource in providing research and development support for the LA Audits team in the design, implementation, management and evaluation of energy efficiency projects/programs. The Energy Engineer will also assist with mentorship and skill development of other team members. They must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills and the capacity to handle multiple projects and roles. In addition, the candidate must have a deep understanding of mechanical systems, ability to analyze energy savings and cost effectiveness, ability to develop program budgets and work within tight timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical or mechanical), and 4 years of experience in the energy efficiency or energy related field or eight years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have hands on experience with building HVAC systems, lighting and experience with industrial equipment systems and processes.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a cross-functional and diverse team.
- Must have a valid California driver's license, with minimum level insurance and a reliable vehicle for travel.
