The SC Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) is the administrator and co-trustee of retirement and insurance programs for over half a million active and retired public employees of the State of South Carolina and their dependents.

As a member of the Help Desk team, the Endpoint Technician will:
- Perform installation, end-user technical support, and maintenance of desktop and hardware; troubleshooting, and debugging of custom application software.
- Provide technical support and training of audio-visual and presentation software and hardware.
- Install new operating systems by wiping or clearing the hard drive entirely and installing a fresh operating system.
- Support Windows Active Directory and Windows-based clients by resetting password and verifying access. Ensure end user information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices are applied.
- Work with senior level systems support personnel with complex technical issues, solution strategies and standard operating procedures.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, management information science or a related field and one year of related experience. Related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
