We’re actively seeking a talented Endpoint SecOps Lead to join our Security Operations team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be on-site, 100% remote or anything in between.
As a Endpoint SecOps Lead , you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by protecting assets that are most susceptible to attack. You will lead the establishment of hardened security configuration baselines, develop processes and procedures to secure end user devices, and monitor for compliance against all applicable policies and standards. You will fill a new role within the Corporate division. Your colleagues will include IT professionals experienced in packaging, deploying and managing endpoints and work closely with other service areas dealing with engineering, support, asset management and risk management.
How you will make an impact:
Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise security operations procedures, processes, and playbooks.
Responsible for analyzing, defining, and establishing hardened security operating system configuration baselines for our Windows, Mac and iOS-based endpoints.
Lead a team responsible for the maintenance, management and security of our endpoint environment
Responsible for planning, coordinating the deploying security and vulnerability patch updates for the Windows and Mac operating system, 3rd party software, and firmware updates to ensure seamless, uninterrupted operations and support for all endpoints
In partnership with application owners and IT asset management, responsible for establishing standards and processes to ensure 3rd party software is supported, patched, and running approved versions
Manage the creation and maintenance of security alerts, reports, dashboards, and metrics and their presentation to stakeholders
Ensures compliance with all relevant corporate and company-wide initiatives through applicable IT service, support and development activities; Internal Financial Reporting Controls, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Information Security, Operational Risk Management, Audit, Privacy, and Enterprise Technology Principals, Standards, and Policies.
The experience you will bring:
8+ years progressive work experience, of which 5+ years are in Information Security
3+ years experience leading, directing, guiding teams
A bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience is required
5+ years experience protecting and managing endpoints through enterprise-grade tools and platforms ( Intune, Defender, SCCM, JAMF, Crowdstrike, Qualys, Symantec Endpoint Protection, etc.)
What will make you stand out:
A CISSP or CISM certification is highly desired.
An M.B.A. or M.S. in Information Security is preferred
Holding any of the following certifications is a plus; GCIH, CCNA, C|EH, CISA, SANS GCIH, GMON
A strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework is highly desired
Solution specific certifications preferred. (Crowdstrike, relevant Microsoft mobility and security certifications, Jamf)

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$110,900.00 - $138,600.00 - $187,200.00
