EMT home health (per diem, flexible hours) Job at Interim Healthcare of Mercer
EMT requested for home health care in Mercer and Hunterdon Counties. Work 10-hours per week for 6 months, and we will pay for your NJ Certified Home Health Aide license. Supplement your pay a different way!
Part-time, flexible hours!
Must have reliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.
Companions provided in-home companionship including playing games, watching television, and assisting with household tasks.

- exercise, activity and positioning, range of motion, transferring, ambulation and assistive devices
- personal hygiene (nail and skin care, bathing, shampooing, etc.) and positioning
- vital signs
- post-stroke and dementia care
- light house-keeping, laundry and assistance with meal preparation
- transportation to appointments
- adherence to patient plan of care
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- NJ CHHA or CNA certification
- Nursing student (able to take NJ CHHA exam)
- EMT-B
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Reliable vehicle
- Able to pass criminal history and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
- Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.
