Roger Mills Memorial Hospital is seeking an EMS Operations Manager
The EMS Operations Manager will be responsible for the coordination of activities to ensure the consistent delivery of EMS services. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team of EMRs, EMTs and Paramedics to ensure quality care is provided. The operations manager must be able to communicate with EMS Staff, Hospital Staff and Medical Providers. Roger Mills County EMS is looking for a team player who can elevate the community presence, ensure adequate communication and education for the emergency responders in Roger Mills County.
This position is responsible for the coordination of activities to ensure the consistent delivery of EMS services. Coaches, facilitates, and leads staff in the consistent achievement of high-quality patient care and EMS system operations. Performs a wide variety of patient care skills in a pre-hospital environment, including activities related to direct care, documentation, and patient transport.
The Operations manager is responsible for continuity of operations and assuring the appropriate use of medical protocols, incident command, safety standards, policy, and standard operating guidelines. Evaluates performance of staff, compiles reports and provides feedback to the EMS Director and the EMS Board.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Paramedic licensure is required but consideration will be given to applicants currently enrolled in Paramedic training. Computer experience. NIMS 300 and 400.
PREFERRED: EMS Instructor, ACLS, PALS, BLS Instructor. Must be willing to obtain credentials required for the EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) and TIMS (Traffic Incident Management System). Special Requirements: Available for call-in as needed. Required to
