Position Summary
This position will support the ministries of the Kids Community Ministries for children from 4yrs-Kindergarten.
General Responsibilities:
The safe and smooth running of Sunday morning programming for kids ages 4-K, developing volunteers for Sundays, and contributing to all-kid initiatives and events.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee 4-K Sunday Mornings
- Ensuring that curriculum and resources are prepped and accessible for Sunday mornings
- Organizing and maintaining the space used for Sunday morning
- Communicating with Family pastor needs or potential improvements and then implementing them once approved
- Lead group prayer on Sundays as well as be actively praying for the ministry
- Communicating directly with parents
- Develop 4-K Volunteers
- Communicating regularly with volunteers via email, text, or call
- Training, investing, and empowering the 4-K volunteer team
- Contributing to KidsCom
- Attending Kids Team meetings (usually once a week)
- Play an active role in big events like Mega Sports Camp
Typical Hours:
10 hours per week, Sunday mornings (8:30-12:45pm) and various other times

- Exhibit a spirit of joy and helpfulness
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to deal with a variety of people in different situations
- Self-motivated: requires minimal direction of important tasks
- Humble and willing to learn
- Has an ability to anticipate potential needs and challenges
- Able to multi-task – prioritize and balance multiple requests

Your employment with New Hope Community Church (New Hope) is at will. This means your employment is for an indefinite period of time and it is subject to termination by you or New Hope, with or without cause, with or without notice, and at any time. Nothing in this policy or any other policy of New Hope shall be interpreted to be in conflict with

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
