Location: Jeanerette and Franklin
Status: Hourly
Hours: Full Time, 6AM-4PM, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Potential for overtime on Weekdays and Weekends
Required Skills:
--Possess a thorough understanding of AC or DC circuit operation and theory
--Proficiently troubleshoot any electrical, nav, communication, NMEA 2000, and engine data issues
--Understand and can utilize all functions of a multimeter
--Test circuit for voltage, continuity, and amp draw
--Properly connect isolation transformers
--Terminate antenna and video connections
--Terminate ethernet connections
--Understand network communication
--Program motors, communication, and nav equipment
--Read manufacturer documentation to determine how to install and integrate engine electrical, control, and communication systems
--Understands the function and install of marine electronics such as AIS, Radar, transponders, and transducers
--Can QC electrical schematics and effectively communicate issues to foreman
--Basic understanding of proper wire and circuit protection sizing
--Clean up shop and work area
Physical Requirements:
--Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
