JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

• C Speed is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support design, development, and sustainment of sophisticated radar solutions.

• Responsible for the analysis and test of RF, Mixed Signal and Digital Systems.

• Responsible for the design of new and redesign of obsolete components and systems.

• Perform generation of requirements, architecture, design, interface, and other documents. Participates in development of test strategies.

• Participate in all development life-cycle activities including requirements, concepts, design, prototype, implementation, refinement, testing, release, and deployment.

• Support hardware/software integration and test in lab environment.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

· Must experience in the design and acquisition of custom Circuit Card Assemblies to include schematic capture and layout.

· Must have working knowledge of RF components and systems.

· Must have experience using lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, vector network analyzers.

· Must have broad knowledge of electrical subsystems to include DC/DC Converters, RF, Mixed Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing, and Communication Systems.

· Proactive in addressing tasks and ability to self-direct on day-to-day activities

· Knowledge of CMMI, and desire to improve organizational capabilities a plus

· Required proficiency with standard productivity software (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail, focus on quality and thoroughness a must.

· Ability to problem solve, find unique solutions, and analyze trade-offs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 5+ years of applicable work experience.

• Experience using Schematic Capture and Layout tools such as Altium, OCAD or PADS.

• Experience with Matlab for prototyping and analysis a plus.

• Experience modeling and design of RF circuits a plus.

• Experience with radar systems and radar hardware development a plus.

• Experience with formal methodologies, for example, DO-178 or DO-278 a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
