La Tourangelle’s online business is growing and we’re seeking a talented Sales Specialist to drive sales with best-in-class natural food products with digital retailers. This role will support the eCommerce Sales Manager in representing our brand and managing relationships with online grocery retailers, brokers, and distributors. The candidate most successful in this position will blend their love of good food with their desire to win online and create opportunities for our brand.

Reports to: eCommerce Sales Manager

Location: Remote work – Ideally in Eastern Standard Time Zone

Salary: 70 -85k / year with Bonus and Benefits


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • eCommerce Support – Optimize and streamline reporting and assist in driving the eCommerce strategy with online retailers (Amazon, iHerb, Walmart, etc.) as well as DTC channel. Develop meeting materials and ongoing reporting to manage eCommerce customers.
  • Internal and External Strategic Partnerships – Work on special projects that accelerate growth for the channel by partnering closely with internal and external colleagues to execute strategies and tactics from inception to launch. Support in managing external partners and agencies to optimize programs and drive results.
  • Analytics – Develop and maintain reporting, using insights to take actions towards driving sales growth. Performing pre and post promotion analysis and revising future programs as necessary will be a key to your success.
  • Sales Support – You will support the sales trade spend strategy by tracking KPI’s in order to deliver merchandising, promotions, advertising, pricing and new product launch objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Build sales reports from various internal and external sources to assist sales and management with KPI improvement. Run reports and help analyze data from eCommerce channels and provide ongoing POS data and insight for management. Understand content management tools and site analytics technologies.
  • Assist sales leaders to integrate B2B sales within the eCommerce platform and self-service fulfillment, by implementing changes for use by customers and account executives. Demonstrated experience in balancing and managing the creative aspects of building effective eCommerce customer experiences while achieving the quantitative demands of sales.
  • Manage a suite of eCommerce capabilities (products) which support the overall web experience, with direct accountability for the performance of the product suite in meeting business goals and financial targets. Support Customer Service Lead on managing Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central activities, such as notifying customers regarding order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for daily and routine activities to maintain eCommerce websites and to support the vision and strategy for achieving corporate sales and conversion goals. Coordinates digital assets and performs quality checks to maintain accurate product data. Maintains visual appeal and compelling content on eCommerce websites.
  • Tracks site traffic, user behavior, and trends; reports and analyzes program effectiveness.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or a related field is required
  • 2-5 years of experience working with third party marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Instacart etc.
  • High level of attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysist (pivot tables, v-lookup), PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analysis, report-building, and craft meaningful stories from data sets
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to give impactful presentations, and a foundation of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in variable conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
  • Proven success working cross-functionally (marketing, supply chain, finance), ability to influence and gain project support from internal and external stakeholders
  • Advertisement experience is a plus
