AbilityPath is hiring an Early Interventionist Assessment lead to join our team!

(full-time, part-time, and flexible hours available)


We are seeking an experienced Early Interventionist to lead developmental assessments for Early Start eligibility.

Work experience in birth to age 3 population, particularly assessments, is beneficial as well.

We have hybrid operations in place.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Maintaining clinical records in adherence with clinical procedures including, but not limited to, evaluation protocols and mandated reports.
  • Maintaining all required state licensure, malpractice insurance, and certification for the practice of Early Intervention in the State of California.
  • Conducting specialized developmental assessments on an individual basis (as needed basis, determined by Via) in conjunction with a Via team member.
  • Based on each family's preference, assessments take place in family homes, at Via's clinic, or by video conference.
  • All employees, contractors and volunteers for this position are required to complete our current COVID-19 safety training.
  • Other duties as required


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • MA/MS in Early Intervention, Special Education, Occupational Therapy from an accredited university with applicable license, credential and/or certificate (preferred)
  • BA degree from an accredited university


HIRING REQUIREMENTS
:

  • Valid California Driver’s License/ID
  • Clean Driving Record (if applicable)
  • Proof of negative TB test results
  • Verification of occupational physical clearance
  • Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
  • 18 years of age or job permit clearance
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination + first booster

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

  • Ability to drive personal vehicle to conduct home visits
  • Ability to physically manage children up to 40 lbs. (carrying, positioning)
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend frequently
  • Ability to sit and keyboard as needed
