CAMFS, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring a Parts Driver. As a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for providing support to the parts department including the effective and efficient distribution of heavy-duty parts within a predetermined territory.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Always portray a welcome and positive image of the company
  • Assist in all stages of parts delivery. Specifically, removing parts from inventory, obtaining parts from other sources, loading of delivery vehicle and final delivery to the customer.
  • Utilize delivery and shipment methods to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all delivery related paperwork.
  • Communicate with customer to ensure proper delivery.
  • Assist in preparing customer parts orders.
  • Receive and communicate customer parts returns with designated person.
  • Participate in annual inventory of parts.
  • Responsible for maintaining parts delivery truck as outlined in company vehicle policy.
  • Assist in weekly cleanup of warehouse department and yard areas.
  • Maintain general work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to frequently climb in and out of a vehicle.
  • Ability to exert 36 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 22 to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 11 to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to build successful business relationships.
  • Ability to meet performance expectations by effectively managing time and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work with a sense of urgency.
