GENERAL FUNCTION: Our Funders are an integral part of Dividend’s Home Energy team, funding new Home Energy financings and helping expand Dividend’s Home Energy origination capability across the country.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and complete pre-funding quality control for each file and corrects errors as needed
- Prepare each loan file for funding
- Review signed loan document information for accuracy
- Re-verify all data provided applying internal Quality Control procedures
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our partners through exceptional customer service
- Communicate directly with partners regarding credit decisions and application status
- Perform administrative tasks to support lending activities
- Assist partners with basic application system and computer issues
- Conduct verification checks directly with customers
- Collaborate with internal sales team
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or college degree preferred
- Customer Service experience required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High-level proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and other standard software products
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and report to several managers
- Ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
- High attention to details
- A high level of enthusiasm, collegial attitude and a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial but highly professional culture
