STELLA at Hotel Sorrento is looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This is a great culinary intro position for anyone looking to begin a career in cooking/kitchen industry.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Mop/clean floors of kitchen and restaurant areas daily

• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area

• Wash all dishes, silverware, cooking equipment, and glass wares and store in proper area

• Keep dish area clean & neat, including machine

• Check floor drains and filters for debris to prevent clogs

• Empty and clean all recycling, garbage, and compost following proper procedure

• Turn off all equipment insuring no safety hazard has been left behind

• Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor

• Conduct oneself in the professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Dunbar Room/ Hotel Sorrento

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management and staff

Requirements:

-Schedule flexibility; available weekends, and holidays

-Sight and good sensation are necessary to prevent accidents.

-Able to speak, read, write basic English -Ability to stand and move for extended periods

-Ability to lift and pull heavy loads.
