In this role, you will lead projects that develop the posture Kohler will take in terms of product, experience, go-to-market, and operations to continue and accelerate its growth trajectory. You will bring innovation and objectivity to strategy development, directly influencing the direction of the organization for years (and decades) to come.

You will be a leader on a team that works with Kohler’s enterprise, business, and functional Executives to make long-term decisions that will help focus initiative development and execution. This includes the development of trends to take advantage of industry and competitive opportunities.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide thought leadership, direction, and guidance to Kohler’s Executives. This includes the direct facilitation and influence of long-term, strategic decisions across enterprise, global businesses, and functions.

Position Summary
This role is part of Kohler’s enterprise Strategy Development function, facilitating long-term strategic decision making for the organization.

• Helps lead the development of key enterprise, business, and functional strategies for the organization.
• Coordinates and participates in discussions regarding mission, strategy, and metrics for the company.
• Engages in development of overall enterprise strategy vis-à-vis external (including competitive strategies) and internal environments; works with Strategic Planning team to monitor and facilitate discussions around strategic risks and opportunities.
• Supports M&A team on acquisition target analysis and business case development, led by proactive analysis of gaps and opportunities in enterprise, business, and functional strategies.
• Undertakes strategic and tactical risk modeling and scenario planning (including workshop development) for critical decisions in support of enterprise, business, and functional strategies.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA Degree a plus.
• Requires 10+ years of work experience; 5+ years experience in strategic function and/ or strategic consulting preferred.
• Industry and/ or global experience a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to “think on your feet” and express thoughts logically and succinctly.
• Ability to develop business plans and model financials (in Excel) required.
