On-site position

As a Director of Sales, you will lead and oversee a team of inside insurance consultants to meet and exceed production goals. You will be responsible for creating business strategies to drive profitable growth, independently gather and analyze results, and propose improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and oversee sales department, objectives, and initiatives
  • Responsible for creating and evaluating business strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of company's day-to-day operations and generation of revenue to ensure it grows continuously
  • Manage capacity versus production and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Independently gather and analyze results, explain variance to budget, identify trends and propose solutions
  • Independently execute company initiatives, create project plans, develop communication strategy, and report progress to stakeholders
  • Manage department budget and headcount to ensure daily occupancy rates are met
  • Interview, hire, develop, onboard and offboard associates
  • Monitor KPIs and communicate to leadership how the team is performing and what resources are needed to meet and exceed goals
  • Align sales efforts with strategic corporate goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related program or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of sales success
  • Strong business acumen, and ability to have business conversations at all levels
  • 5+ years management experience or applicable experience
  • 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, required
  • 2+ years of call center experience
  • Experience in managing sales professionals to expectations
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of insurance products, carrier offerings and rating concepts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain license in property and casualty insurance
  • Experience with SalesForce preferred
