Responsibilities:
As Groups rapidly expands its Marketing team to meet the growing need for opioid treatment, we are looking to hire a Director of Product Marketing to take the reins on all things brand, product marketing, member and staff experience.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a fast-moving Product Marketing role and a demonstrated ability to drive brand & creative strategy, traditional product marketing, and user/member experience strategy.

Our future Director of Product Marketing will own a team that supports the organization with shared services – including content/copy, video and design, user research and optimization of brand guidelines.

Moreover, this role will be instrumental in defining a clear product marketing operating structure, aligning with the Chief Product Officer on processes for go-to-market launches, and new feature/functionality announcements around our in-house recovery app for members.

Lastly, our future Marketing leader will partner closely with the Product team to develop and enhance Groups’ core experience for both members and staff including eliminating friction points and streamlining the full lifecycle of both all audiences that make up Groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of who our members are, what motivates them and develop a perspective on key value propositions.
  • Drive brand and creative strategy including building processes to maximize team output.
  • Build a comprehensive content plan and manage copywriters, designers and video producers to ship new assets to support ambitious organizational goals.
  • Work closely with Groups’ Product Team to streamline the full end-to-end experience for both prospective members current members, former members, and staff.
  • Support Groups’ Product Teams with launches, conveying benefits of new feature/functionality and creating messaging targeted to Groups’ identified personas.
  • Drive the value proposition for staff and use Marketing-support to enable improvements to staff workflow.
  • Conduct user research and translate high-level insights into actionable takeaways across multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Advance and develop Groups’ brand identity, core company values, ethos, and positioning and build processes for creating consensus and alignment internally.
  • Partner with CPO to align regularly on product roadmap, tech stack, new feature development, and the evolution of Groups’ core and peripheral product suite.
  • Map out the full user journey and identify friction points, partner with stakeholders to streamline and enhance the user experience regardless of customer lifecycle stage.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Marketing function with some background in people management.
  • Some experience managing creative and brand teams and carrying out a brand strategy from the ground up.
  • Excellent writer, knowing when to go deep or stay high level depending on his/her audience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and using the two to manage short term processes and create long term plans.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud tools are a plus, though not required.
  • Excellent problem solver. When issues surface, your first instinct is to work the problem and use the resources you have to solve it.
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling copy/content and editing experience.
