Director of Development Job at MS ACTION FOR PROGRESS, Inc.
Director of Development -The Director of Development will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and will lead all revenue generating and community development activities for the agency. Position is responsible for overseeing developing fundraising policies and procedures, and serving as the primary staff liaison to the Financial Development Committee, or other assigned committees on the Board of Directors. Also has the responsibility of maintaining agency Donor Management software/database, and ensuring that all aspects of pledges and donations of any type are accounted for by the best fiscal practices, including year-end reconciliation and closure.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master's degree preferred, with eight (8) years' or more professional experience in fundraising, grant writing, planned giving, and donor management. Must be knowledgeable of working with the media, with foundation and government grant writing expertise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
