Director Position-Full Time
Salary: $26/hourly

Hours of Academy 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Job Description:
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Center tours, enrollment, retention
-Managing staff as a team
-Coaching the team
-Developing and maintaining parent relationships
-Invoices
-Payments and deposits
-Attendance
-Scheduling staff and flexible families
-Maintaining physical appearance of center
-Supplies
-Following and teaching rule 3 to staff
-Preventing and resolving conflicts
-Assisting teachers
-Stepping into classrooms
-Preparing meals and snacks
-Social media advertising and promotions
-Party and event planning/hosting
-Center transportation
Curriculum Development and -Implementation
-Staff training
-Parent Communication
-Assisting the Owner with Office Responsibilities
-Mentoring Teachers
-Scheduling
-Opening and Closing Responsibilities
-Following Rule 3 Licensing Standards
-Staff Development
-Parent Aware training/ratings for staff and center
-Planning and Implementing Field Trips with help of Lead Teacher
-Developing Bonds with Children
-Revising policies and procedures
-Schedule meetings and other administrative duties
-Investigation code of conduct issues including leading, or being an integral part of a team working on a wide range of critical projects
-Organize, plan, control and prioritize work or projects, along with the ability to communicate progress to appropriate stake holders
-Forward thinker dedicated to improving efficiencies
-Create and maintain online registration
-Recruit, hire train and manage staff
-Maintains CACFP and Minnesota Department of Health Licensing for meals and snacks, if applicable

Qualifications:
Meet Minnesota DHS Rule 3 or Wisconsin HFS 46 Teacher qualifications, including yearly in-service requirements minimum of 2 years’ experience in child care program design, implementation, and evaluation. Adult and child CPR or CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications within 30 days of hire date. Minimum 1 year experience in management/supervision. Strong
interpersonal communication skills. Self-directed individual,skilled in creative problem solving.
Must be computer literate. Ability to travel locally to attend meetings. Must be able to perform computer task for extended periods of time.

*Retention Bonus: $ 1000

- Director works full-time for 1 continuous year will be eligible for a retention bonus.
