Production Theory is a premier experiential event creative, fabrication and production company specializing in turnkey event management for top-tier clients nationwide.

The Motley Brews event series has been a local, live event staple in Las Vegas since 2010. We are seeking an exceptional Festival Director who reports directly to the C-Suite team. We are seeking an established individual/team with proven live event management experience or interested in adding a recurring annual events contract to their workload, this is not a full time position but can grow into one with Production Theory based on performance and fit.

Administrative

• Integrate with all process tools to include Slack and Asana to manage project flows.
• Attend weekly meetings with festival management team and provide timely updates on progress.

Event Production

• Autonomously lead a team of employees to include F+B Manager, Marketing team and vendors to achieve project success.
• Manage on-site coordination of vendors during festival week(s).
• Maintain inventory & accountability of all decor, equipment and other supplies.

Vendor Management

• Oversee F+B Manager to onboard vendors from existing database.
• Recruit and coordinate with vendors as necessary to include staffing agencies, site services and other vendors necessary as assigned to complete projects.
• Recruit and onboard sponsorships

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record of success of managing festivals or large events with references.
• Position is primarily remote but up twice annual travel is required 7-10 days prior to festival date for onsite preparation.
• Must have top-level organization skills and have an affinity for completing tasks efficiently and following up.
• Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal English.
• Must be proactive and reactive to client/vendor needs and anticipate. Critical thinking and ability to innovate on the fly is a must for this position.
• Must have superior sales and client interface skills with humility in all situations internally and externally.
• Must be able to stay calm and focused in high-profile situations.
