Global Partners, LP is hiring for a Director, Alltown Fresh Merchandising and Product Innovation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position reports into marketing and is responsible for the Alltown Fresh (AF) merchandising portfolio operations, researching and staying up to date on new products (specifically local & artisan), vendor relations, internal brand awareness and financial performance. The Director, Alltown Fresh Merchandising and Product Innovation models the way acting in accordance with Global Partner's guiding principles, policies, and procedures.

Alltown Fresh is a newly launched brand expected to redefine and forever change the traditional convenience store market. In addition to fuel for their vehicles, Alltown Fresh offers local communities healthy, fresh food choices and made-to-order meals - including organic, natural, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and locally-sourced alternatives - all in a rush-free environment where neighbors can hang out with one another. We believe people shouldn't need to sacrifice healthy and fresh food choices for convenience. Alltown Fresh is the first convenience market in America to offer fresh food choices, as well as gas/diesel, a cafe, coffee, outdoor seating, groceries, craft beer (when permitted), wifi, pet relief areas, traditional snack options, phone, and electric car charging stations.

"Gears" of Accountability/Responsibility -
- Leads all ATF New Store Merchandising Setups working directly with store and vendors partner teams. Including schedules for delivery and setup of product according to planograms and merchandising store layout, along with Fixturing, fixturing accessories, and small wares.
- Responsible for all merchandising store resets based on sales analysis. Including working with Ops and vendor partner teams on new layout, fixture ordering, staffing, and sell through period of deleted items.
- Responsible for researching, staying UpToDate, and implementing new Products, specifically local and market trends to the AF portfolio. Including all functions of the vendor partner from onboarding to an exit strategy
- Seeks out, develops, nurtures, and owns key product supplier relationships specifically local and artisanal.
- Responsible for co-designing store layout and merchandising for the ATF portfolio with the CM internal team and AF core team.
- Responsible for product and planogram analysis, change strategy, CM operational dependencies and keeping the AF core team updated.
- Responsible for organizing and working with marketing on all product promotional content and events specifically regarding local and artisanal items.
- Responsible for organizing and working with marketing on developing a calendar of promotional events and content to educate the consumer on AF products.
- Develop a seasonal decor (look and feel) calendar with product specific guidelines to support store teams in execution.
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to gain efficiencies, quality improvement, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and any other relevant factors pertaining to AF merchandising.
- Develop and maintain store ordering guidelines along with vendor onboarding, set up of and strategy for all products being eliminated
- Work with our product vendors to develop a product sampling strategy for internal & external events and product promotions
- Ensure key vendor performance is met through management of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and/or accurate Scope of Work (SOW's) if applicable
- Develop and support policies and procedures, which enhance and measure product quality and program success
- Perform ad hoc projects and related duties associated with creating phenomenal guest experience when needed.
