We are looking for friendly people to work one on one with our clients with Developmental Disability. Our clients each have different interests and we will pair you up with someone who shares interests similar to yours. We have full time and part time positions available in several locations in Monmouth County : )

We have the following positions open in Monmouth County:

Manalapan: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-3pm. 6 hours each day. 18 hours/week total. Client is very friendly and has indoor and outdoor, tennis courts and pool in community. * Must be cat friendly* $17/ hour

Freehold: 10 hours per week, twice per week (either Monday, Tuesdays or Thursdays and Saturdays). Needs someoen that can be a friend and keep up with clients fast walks. $17/ hour

Shrewsbury Township: 12-15 hours per week. Flexible schedule- day shift only. Needs help organizing and cleaning their room and then after that they want to go out into the community. This client needs a creative worker to keep them out of the house after they are finished with the room. $17/ hour

Fair haven: Monday any time after 10am or Tuesday 10am-2pm. 4 hours per week total. Needs someone to get them out of the house and keep them occupied. Very friendly client. $17/ hour

Marlboro: 12-6pm Saturdays. Looking for someone to hang out at the house with client and be social and engage with them. $17/ hour

Ocean: Monday,Tuesday, Friday 2:30-6pm and/or Sundays 11-4 pm (12 hours per week total) Clients mom has a list of tasks that they would like you to complete together. $17/ hour

Oakhurst: 6 hours/ week (flexible on days and times) Client usually works 9:30-1:30pm on two days per week but it varies, hours can be broken up or one shift. Client would like: light house cleaning, someone to take them food shopping, run errands, and the occasional doctor appointment. $17/ hour

Port Monmouth: 2 days a week 5 hours each day (10 hours per week) Client needs a friend to take them shopping, to the movies, museums, etc. $17/ hour

Keyport: Monday-Friday 3pm-7 or 8pm (15-20 hours total/ week). Client needs help with cleaning and wants a friend. $17/ hour Long Branch- Per diem worker needed to help client get ready for work. Morning shift 6am-8:45am. $17/ hour

Oakhurst: 20 hours/ week (flexible schedule) Client needs someone that can keep them busy and take them out into the community to go to the mall, shopping, for walks, the movies, etc. $17 / hour.

Aberdeen: A few days a week after 3pm. 6-8 hours/ week total. Client likes to go shopping, to Barnes and Nobles & is looking for a friend with similar interests. $17/hour

This is a fun and rewarding job for someone who can commit to a set, weekly schedule. We are looking for someone to work this job long term to build stability for the patient.

Our company is called Friendly Connections and we are a 501c3 non profit that helps adults with developmental disabilties through the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Our administrative office is located in Monmouth county and we cover all 21 counties in New Jersey and have job openings throughout the state. We work one on one with clients at their home and our goal is to make the world a better place through Friendly Connections : )

Pay rate starts at $17/ hour and we do yearly increases. We have some job coaching positions available for $20/ hour (with employment specialist certificate).
