About You:
- You are a patient and caring individual
- Have a desire to coach people to be their best selves
- You are outgoing and enjoy encouraging others to step out of their comfort zones when appropriate
- You enjoy helping others with shopping, personal money management, diet planning, food preparation, home management, personal hygiene, physical fitness and social and leisure activities
- You are available to work primarily weekend shifts and are flexible to attend training and work addition shifts as needed.
- You’ve never once said “that’s not my job”
Training:
Excellent training offered and numerous opportunities for advancement in a caring, well-established nonprofit agency founded in 1979.
What we are looking for in your background:
- A strong desire to help others above all else
- HS Diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds to assist individuals who have physical challenges with positioning, transferring or ambulating as needed
- Valid Virginia driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Must be able to successfully pass required background check
This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits.
Hourly rate - $15 Starting wages based on experience, education, and references
