THE PURPOSE:

True Religion seeks a Digital UX Designer to support our eCommerce business. The Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and support a mobile-first approach to strong creative concepts, create solutions that achieve business requirements and deliver designs that improve engagement, conversion, customer satisfaction and the overall customer experience for True Religion’s eCommerce channels and Social platforms. This position presents work, develops creative content, and explains the rationale and thinking behind the work. Initiatives include site content, dedicated interactive experiences, promotions, email campaigns, acquisition marketing, and original concepts for eComm-specific stories; as well, as continual improvement of core functionality on site and brand campaign support on the mobile, web app, and desktop devices.

THE ROLE:

• Identifies and creates innovative concepts and designs that align with brand campaigns, project goals and overall brand creative direction.
• Creates elevated and visual content of brand design and storytelling through conceptual approaches in the digital space and an uncompromising attention to detail and aesthetics. Drives site enhancement and ideas using industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Articulates design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and to senior leadership.
• Partners with other creative teams members to ensure cohesive look and feel in all digital consumer material across enterprise.
• Builds and refines various digital layouts within web content management system. Consults with technical disciplines to ensure design work is within given limitations and files are prepared with all necessary information to support the design intent. Successfully implements design.
• Anticipates and provides solutions for design improvements and opportunities across various digital platforms.
• Reviews final desk checks with an exacting eye, ensuring layout, images, and typography meet design standards. Collaborates with other designers to execute and deliver a flawless multi-channel product.
• Uses data to inform future design decisions through hindsight reviews of high-traffic pages. Maintains best practices for web, digital design, and user experience design.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Strong understanding of web development, content management systems including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and CSS.
• Proficient in video formatting for multi-channel usage
• Proficient with Adobe Premier After Effects and InDesign
• 3D digital creative content creation and In-app social video editing (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc), a plus
• Strong ability to deliver quality design at high volume in a tight timeframe
• Strong attention to detail
• Expert communciation skills, both written and verbal, to all levels within the organization.
• Strong prototyping ability
• Strong experience in art directing, studio and on-location photoshoots with digital needs, and best practices

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• BFA/BA in Interactive Design or Visual Design preferred.
• Experience in Fashion industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
