GotPrint.com, a global print-on-demand company with multiple facilities across the United States and Asia has an immediate opening for an experienced Digital Print Operator for our Digital Print Department. This position is based at our Corporate Office located in Burbank, CA.

The ideal Digital Print/Large Format Operator candidate should have the ability and motivation to organize, plan, and prioritize in an efficient manner in order to see each job through completion. This candidate is able to work adequately under pressure, and is able to meet given deadlines. We are looking an individual who can work well with others, and has a positive, can-do attitude.

Position Responsibilities:

• Run specialized jobs that run on non-traditional mediums and sizes
• Prepare / load files for print
• Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed
• Identify workable production solutions when trouble shooting
• Ensure deadlines are maintained and company objectives are met
• Maintain printer and inventory supplies as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma required
• 5+ years industry Operator experience in Digital Printing
• Must be able to set up lithographic press per job specifications including all adjustments on the press
• Must be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Must know PC and MAC Platform and MAC-Ripping Software
• Must be able to establish color approvals on press with or without customer interactions and be able to maintain color and print quality for production run
• Must be able to multi-task & be a team player
• Knowledge of printing terminology and practices, including, but not limited to, layout, file conversion, and color matching
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Must be detail oriented and have strong planning and organization skills
• Must be familiar with following Machines:
• HP INDIGO 6800 ROLL LABEL
• Label Die-Cutting Machine - (must have PrePress knowledge for Indigo Machinery)
• HP INDIGO 12,000
• HP INDIGO 5000
• Mutoh Value Jet
• HP Design Jet
• SCODIX

This person will train on 1st shift and after completion of training will start on 2nd shift.

Hours are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Saturdays are scheduled depending upon work flow throughout the week.
