Your roles and responsibilities

• Initiate and lead digital transformation and process improvement projects within Heraeus

• Help to establish a data driven mindset throughout the organization in close collaboration with the business leadership teams

• Trigger interest and be the first-contact-point for in-depth discussions on digital opportunities in the Americas region

• Create awareness and communicate successes on all available (digital) platforms within the community at large

• Develop “user intimacy” by understanding the objectives and operating mode(s) of targeted users at Heraeus and/or at Heraeus customers

• Collaborate closely with colleagues from our IoT, Data Science and Customer Experience teams based in Hanau, Germany to implement solutions from initial concept all the way to deployment

• Operate in a close and open collaboration with internal and external project members, partners and customers

What is required for this role

• Ability to build the “big picture” supported by detailed analysis

• Ability to understand how a business operates, focusing on the critical functions driving competitiveness and success

• Open and positive communication, ability to develop intimacy & trust in one-to-one interviews and to deliver clear messages in a team

• Good knowledge and overview of new digital technologies available on the market and on their potential application

• High affinity to data analytics, software development and IoT technology, first experience with IoT and Data Science (e.g. AI based Visual Inspection) and / or Six Sigma is a plus

• Successfully completed Master’s degree in Business, IT or Engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired based on experience

• Work experience as strategy consultant or digital transformation team leader

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
