The LFS Group is looking for a Digital & Business Intelligence Director in Tennessee! (generous relocation package available to selected candidate)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Leads the development, growth, and optimization of company websites. Owns the strategy, customer journey and updates to our websites.
•Collaborates with IT to establish connections with all product assets and data related work streams and strategic initiatives to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow. Bridges technical and business worlds.
•Works closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure data online or required for analysis is accurate, timely, and complete.
•Manages online sales analytics and reporting, including Materialbank.com. Builds process and reporting to measure success of initiatives to inform optimization and scalability. Ensures appropriate insights are shared across teams to drive decision making and performance.
•Leads, develops & owns product lifecycle management across teams to maximize growth while balancing manufacturing efficiency, profitability, and inventory optimization.
•Establishes a working relationship with all internal customers (i.e. Design and Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance) and guides functions to mitigate risks and position the business for rapid growth.
•Develops and maintains a Go-to-Market process driving the cross-functional team to on-time, on-cost and on-quality execution. Publish, maintain, and distribute timelines, communications, and reporting.
•Tracks and reports portfolio performance and work action plans with Sales to understand demand and execution.
•Functions as primary leader point of contact for updates related to websites, product portfolio, lifecycle and launches, data accuracy, and competitive insights.
•Gains alignment on assortment recommendations such as adding, growing and exiting collections. Rationalizes product line based on data to ensure an optimal and profitable number of SKUs in the range. Determines breadth and desirability of product lines.
•Leads team that gathers intelligence and continuously benchmarks our marketshare, products and processes versus the industry and competition. Provides actionable insights and recommendations utilizing internal & external data analysis. Eg.: price optimization, competitor earnings call insights, trade publications.
•The "subject matter expert" including technical, market and competitive expertise. Employs data and tactics to support strategic recommendations. Educates internal team on consumer and marketplace.
•Collaborates with Sales team and other cross-functional partners to drive winning strategies with demonstrated rationale for key customer line reviews.
•Supports new customer acquisition by identifying market opportunities and business strategies.
•Translates marketplace trends and insights into actionable recommendations to guide innovation in support of growth and profitability goals. Lead cross-functional planning on assortment enhancements. Identify needs, prioritize projects and inform. Use data analysis from multiple sources to fuel product development.
•Creates new product positioning and establish recommended price points both new and exiting. Active involvement in making presentations to sales team.
•Works cross-functionally to identify growth and operational efficiency opportunities for the business; leads efforts to execute a variety of activities that support P&L improvement.
•Collaborate with Finance to create annual financial goals and then forecast with team including price and portfolio mix.
•Utilizes data analytics and business modeling to drive strategic investment decisions.
•In partnership with quality assurance, own accuracy of data and data management updates.
•Responsible to oversee item setup and management process ensuring accuracy.
•Support strategic planning and strategy deployment for the Oracle system.
•In partnership with marketing and QA, develops strategies to ensure packaging is consistent with company vision, including forward-looking sustainability initiatives.
•Partners with Supply Chain to ensure on time product launches and maintain healthy levels of inventory. Collaborates on resolution for excess inventory.
•Analyzes customer demand, sales forecast, lead times, and safety stock data.
•Execute special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: Two or more direct reports. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Undergraduate degree in eCommerce, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, Product Management, or related field; MBA or degree in Digital Commerce Product management desirable.
•4+ years’ experience in product management, strategy, or related function; ideally portion of that experience leading or managing technology products.
•Preferred minimum of 3 years of product management experience in a similar industry, ideally flooring or building materials.
•Experience in data architecture with an understanding of digital marketing, website management and all channels of acquisition; CRM, SEM/SEO, e-mail, and social.
•Experience (or a sound understanding) in manufacturing and sourcing.
•Knowledge of finished building products and channel management preferred.
•Previous project management experience in a cross-functional environment is required. Involving successfully organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation of process improvement while fostering team collaboration and task commitment.
•Ability to structure complex technical information into concise customer focused messages, and to be able to communicate feature/benefits/value proposition to differentiate from competition.
•P&L management capabilities that support the delivery of the strategic plan.
•Market intelligence gathering and synthesis.
•Proficient with windows-based operating systems environment, spreadsheet, graphics, and database software, (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Experience with Oracle and Salesforce preferred.

•Excellent oral, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with all levels of internal and external customers.
Entrepreneurial drive to take a business into new, uncharted territory.
•Demonstrated success in managing people.
•Understanding of corporate strategic planning process.
•Ability to work well in an autonomous, unstructured environment.
•Must be both hands on and strategic with the ability to navigate between the two.
•Experience with Oracle and Salesforce preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
