Dietary Aide Job at Jogan Health
We are looking for a Dietary Aide who is local to the Boise, ID area for a 13 week contract (with possible extension) at a nursing home.
In your Dietary Aide role, you will be responsible for serving meals to residents, completing minor prep work and cleaning throughout their shift. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of food sanitation, excel in customer service, have a professional appearance, dependable transportation, teachable attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as directed by supervisors. These duties include but are not limited to those described below.
- Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties including work areas, tables, appliances, and floors.
- Assist in dish and utensil washing and cleaning including gathering soiled items from carts, trays and dining areas and placing clean items in proper storage areas.
- Check all trays for completeness and accuracy or menu and diet preferences before distribution to residents.
- Ensure proper storage of raw and leftover foods.
- Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
- Perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as a Dietary Aide
- Nursing home experience is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
