The Candidate will perform highly advanced design and development work as part of a project team with direction and guidance from Project Manager and Applications Services Management. The Candidate must have strong hands-on technical experience with RedHat IBM WebSphere, Apache, RedHat JBoss, Docker, Kubernetes, SoftwareAG Big Memory and ForgeRock. The primary goal of the Candidate will be to assist with implementation and administration of middleware products (Apache, WebSphere, JBoss, OpenShift 3+,4+, Kubernetes).
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:
Working in large complex environments implementing and administrating Infrastructure Transformation/Network programs.- Providing guidance and knowledge transfer to existing development staff.
- The Candidate will perform other tasks as assigned

Must be able to:
- Wwith Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches.
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot WebSphere, Apache, JBoss, SoftwareAG Big Memory and ForgeRock
- Debug Docker containers, Kubernetes pods and replication controllers.
- Work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams
Must possess:
- Working knowledge of web servers and APIs.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies Agile and Scrum
- Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary
Must perform other related work as assigned

Onsite Requirement: Candidate will be working remotely since most contractors are teleworking. Onsite work will be very limited and must be pre-approved by the Direct Supervisor
Support Requirement: Candidate will be required to provide support in an on-call situation 24 hours a day during rotation. Candidate may be required to provide support to an on-call programmer.
