DevOps Engineer

The Developer/DevOps Enginer will provide development and DevOps support for a customized version of the Q-Flow lobby line management software system as well as the associated software components that support the functionality of the system. Working as the Developer/DevOps Engineer you will perform requirements analysis; decompose requirements into features, user stories and tasks; perform custom development; deploy solutions to development, test and production environments utilizing CI/CD tools and remediate software bugs found in testing and production. Development to integrate with other software systems via APIs is also in scope for this role.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of an N-Tier enterprise application
  • Develop bug fixes, new features, add-ons, scripts and security updates for web and desktop application frameworks
  • Write features, users stories and tasks to document and track work progress
  • Package all releases as configuration as code through the customer’s CI/CD toolchain
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues at the system and application level as they arise
  • Collaborate with development, operations, security and testing teams
  • Participate in requirements definition meetings with business units and customers
  • Support development and testing environments
  • Assist application support analysts with release testing

Education and Certifications:

  • 10+ years of development experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience working in a technical position
  • Active Secret Clearance
