Development Associate Job at DevCo Management
DevCo is seeking a full-time Development Associate to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The Development Associate will assist the Regional Development Manager with the development, acquisition and financing of the company and its affiliates’ assets. They will be involved with each step of the development process and will coordinate with land sellers, lenders, investors and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
- Promote company's position within industry.
- Prepare and provide due diligence and other information for company’s and its affiliates’ financial transactions with lenders and investors.
- Assist in identifying land acquisition and other opportunities. Maintain and enhance relationships with realtors. Negotiate with owners, prepare offers and achieve land or other asset control. Keep land sellers informed as to progress towards permits, financing and closings. Track land transaction payments and other obligations and ensure company’s compliance.
- Prepare financial analysis of specific investment opportunities.
- Pursue and liaise with lenders and investors to develop and enhance relationships. Expand type of financings available to company. Solicit term sheets. Evaluate various alternatives. Achieve closings.
- Monitor sources and uses for projects throughout development history.
- Prepare budgets and schedules for pre-construction activities.
- Track equity pay-ins timing and conditions, achieve conditions and collect.
- Evaluate, negotiate and implement purchase of minority interests in assets.
- Assist in refinancing of assets as appropriate.
- Assist in coordinating consultant selection, design and permitting for developments, focusing through site plan approval.
- Assist in keeping internal partners informed as to the status of asset acquisitions, development and financing.
- Otherwise assist Development Manager in tasks related to asset acquisition, development and financing.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of real estate experience, or graduate work in real estate/finance.
- Graduate work in real estate/urban planning/finance preferred.
- Available to travel as needed.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen is required.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties.
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
