POSITION SUMMARY:
The Design Engineer is responsible for designing and manufacturing custom solutions for VIRA Insight’s customers. This team member is analytical and a straightforward communicator. They will consider all aspects of a product’s use including visual appeal, safety, accessibility, and affordability. This role will collaborate with other Engineers and Designers to finalize the specifications of a project using their ability to follow a structured
and systematized process.

A successful Design Engineer at VIRA Insight excels at identifying solutions to improve production efficiency. As an established manufacturer in the commercial display space, we have a unique opportunity to firm up our capabilities and diversify our customer base, while pursuing additional growth avenues. The ideal candidate is somewhat analytical and accountable.

In addition to salary, VIRA Insight employees have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee and family and are granted three weeks of PTO at the start of employment. Additional benefits programs are also available to be added on to the employee’s benefit plan. This position will on-site and is open to both Grand Rapids, MI and Lewisville, TX. The Design Engineer position will report to our Engineering Manager.
