Candidate must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.

Purpose of Position: To support engineering efforts in development of new products and maintenance of existing products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Research, develop, design, test, evaluate products, features and technologies that may compliment current and future system solutions.

· Perform engineering activities that include the following: mechanical design, analysis, hand calculations, tolerance stacks, presenting technical data, authoring technical reports, creating, and reviewing functional and physical interfaces, and generating analysis requirements for components.

· Support creation of detailed component definition (drawings and/or model-based definition) and support manufacturing to produce conforming hardware.

· Participate in or lead Root Cause and Corrective Action teams, provide input for sub-system and system level risks, and complete risk assessments for owned components.

· Create component requirements documents for owned hardware and hardware design concepts and perform trade studies to optimize hardware.

· Limited travel to OEM customers and to dealer/distributors to install, test and/or service prototype or production systems/components as required.

Qualifications:
· Design experience in off road and on road vehicles.

· SolidWorks drawing experience or equivalent is required, 3D modeling experience is preferred.

· Ability to work independently to identify and pursue issues to resolution.

· Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize as needed on multiple projects.

Education Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering with 3+ years of design experience.
