The position
The Deputy Director of Administrative Services is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities and operations of the Division. The Deputy Director of Administrative Services reports to the Director of Public Works and is expected to play an integral role on the Department’s management team. The position provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Department and may act as the Director in their absence.

Minimum qualifications
An experienced administrator with a thorough understanding of the principles, practices and administration of public works financing, budget development, and budget implementation.
A typical way to qualify is:
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public policy, or related disciplines. A master's degree in a closely related discipline is preferred.
Five years of relevant and increasingly responsible experience performing duties related to administrative services management in a large, complex organization including at least two years of experience in a senior level management position.
Salary and benefits
The annual salary range is $156,332 - $195,436
