Dental Hygienist Job at Dr.Brian Moore DMD
Hello! We are looking for a hygienist four days a week currently. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Alternate Saturdays until 1pm are available if desired but not required. Additional days may be available..
Salary commensurate with experience and motivation.
The primary practice location is in Owings Mills at the GBMC Physicians Pavilion.
Some of the services provided by dental hygienists in our practice may include:
- patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting.
- taking necessary radiographs
- removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth
- applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)
- teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
- performing documentation and office management activities
Required:
- Must be a registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Maryland, with current license, and CPR certification.
