Local, family-owned specialty dental practice limited to Endodontics looking to add a dental assistant to our team at Martin Endodontics (@martinendodontics).

The Perfect Candidate: This individual prioritizes and prides themselves on exceptional customer service - Aiming to provide a flawless patient experience from greeting the patient being the "face of the practice" when the patient is welcomed from the reception area, making them comfortable while taking imaging for the initial consultation, and excellent bedside manner while assisting chairside. Looking for someone who is positive and a great team player with our existing team, which is small and has been with us for over 20 years (2 endodontists).

Job Requirements:

- MUST be on time

-Must have great people skills - These patients often only see us once, and are nervous to come in or in pain - Someone with great people skills will excel with taking care of these patients! Warm, personable and caring, going the extra mile to help, is what we do best.

-Confidence and professionalism in explaining what patient can expect during visit and answering their questions.

-Comfortable using Instagram, Microsoft Office, learning new dental software - We are fully digital (digital xrays, digital charts, CBCT, etc.)

Job Responsibilities Include:

-This is for a BACK OFFICE assistant - aid in sterilization in lab, cleaning/breaking down/setting up patient rooms, greeting patients. Chairside assistant (taking x-rays, working x-rays during endodontic procedure with rubber dam on) mixing endodontic sealer and temporary filling, keep track of inventory of materials and order monthly.

-Occasionally answering the phone if a second line is ringing to take down contact information.

-Creating patient charts on digital software - inputting patient information, insurance information

-Communicating throughout day with doctor to stay prepared for upcoming patients

-Communicating throughout day with doctor to keep track of recent patients

-Brainstorming and implementing marketing ideas to interact with our referral dentists and potential clients

We are open Monday through Friday. Hours are 9am-5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
