Position: Denial Reconciliation Medical Billing/Coding
Location: Anchorage Hybrid
Pay Range: $23+/hour
A non-profit is looking for a Biller and Coder who is not afraid to jump in and help with a backlog of billing and coding denial claims. As part of a collaborative small team, you will extract relevant information from patient records, clarify information with providers as required, assign codes, review documentation for missing information and other duties as assigned.
Essential qualifications:
- Minimum two years of medical billing and coding experience
- Attention to Detail; will need to review itemized bills to verify accuracy and completeness
- ICD coding knowledge
- HIPAA knowledge
