THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE

SUMMARY
Demonstrates the capabilities of Cat Equipment to Holt Customers as well as being a resource for equipment operation training for customers and sales team members. This position will be the lead for the Caterpillar Paving line as well as Weiler Products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate Caterpillar equipment operations in different application to customers.
• Customer presentations. Strong communication skills .Both written and verbal
• Experience in the Paving industry. Working with Paving crews a must
• Training and machine set up at delivery.
• Understanding of Cat, Trimble telematics. Basic set up a must
• Call or trip reports to sales management.
• Working with customers on job sites (mapping, production studies)
• Train sales team on paving product as needed
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years of heavy equipment experience are required. Some computer skills are required. Further training will be provided with job specific software
SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write service reports.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to work with a lap top to gather and present information

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid California driver’s license Class B, but prefer a Class A license, a clean D.M.V. report, and Forklift Operator Safety Certifications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
COMPENSATION
Pay Range $65,000 - $80,000 Annually
Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.
