Maesa is currently seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to join our team. This person will forecast the demand for Maesa's brands and work on sales analysis and reporting. This role reports to the Senior Director of Demand Planning. Roles and responsibilities will expand to other areas based on candidate's skill-level and performance.
Pay Range: $78,000/yr - $93,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Core Responsibilities

  • Help develop SKU level/ key account forecasts in the forecasting software as part of monthly planning cycle and ensure demand reasonability across portfolio (level and mix)
  • Assist is preparing for IBP cycle meetings including Demand Management Reviews, Supply Management meetings and Brand IBP meetings
  • Assist in managing Building blocks and understanding of key growth drivers and analyzing performance versus plan, last cycle, and prior year
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Retailers to develop accurate SKU level forecast
  • Collaboration with Operations to ensure understanding of forecast and advise on future purchase orders
  • Manage weekly retail sales reports (POS) and provide category performance analysis to drive decision making across the business
  • Managing slow movers' visibility and actions as part of the demand management reviews
  • Track and monitor customer POs and shipments to ensure fill rate and delivery dates are met
  • Drive new item set up with Maesa's sales, marketing and operations teams and relate to customers
  • Collaborate with customers on inventory, forecast, replenishment, launches
  • Assist sales and marketing in assortment analysis for prospective business opportunities

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in demand planning
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and attention to details
  • Strong problem solver who identifies improvement opportunities and implements sustainable solutions
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed
  • Knowledge of Tableau, and a forecasting model tool (e.g., SAP, Logility, JDA, o9, Colibri, etc.) preferred
  • Experience working with a nationwide retailer a plus
