POSITION PURPOSE
The Regional Demand Planner manages the overall regional view of Demand and collaborates across the business in order to facilitate the Regional Demand Review process. The objective of the role is to deliver best in class demand planning to ensure forecast accuracy, service level and inventory targets are met. The Regional Demand Planner drives Demand Planning excellence and provide insights into KPI key drivers.
The Demand Planner is also responsible for driving the Regional S&OP cadence through identifying trends, risks, and opportunities reviewing performance and projection to Financial/Commercial plan and ensuring handover into the Global S&OP cycle. This requires alignment of an 18-month rolling Regional Demand Plan in FuturMaster on a monthly basis, in collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups across Retail Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Supply.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a demand planning/forecasting/supply chain planning role.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, other relevant fields or equivalent experience in Supply Chain.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Expert level proficiency in analytical tools, Microsoft Excel (Power BI, Data modelling a big positive)
Cross functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Finance, Sales and operations teams

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Planning
Responsible for facilitating the monthly Regional Demand Review process and ensure FuturMaster reflects the latest regional Demand Plan for both baseline statistical forecasts and Scheduled Demand for the next 18-month period.
Systematically collaborates with regional teams to ensure the forecasts accurately reflects impact such as pull and push factors from: New Customers; New Channels; New Store Openings; Corporate Orders; Seasonality; Marketing product requirements; Visual Merchandising requirement; Uplift to product due to Marketing activities; Channels (Retail, Wholesale, Amenity, Digital); Life cycle phasings; Category Strategies; Key Customers; Holiday Gifting Periods.
Manages all Demand related activities in Futurmaster such as Supersessions, deletions, history cleansing, exception reporting parameters, statistical forecast review, revisions to Key Customers
Monitors weekly demand consumptions and contributes to Weekly Tactical Demand and Supply Review in region to ensure demand is prioritized in case of stock constraints
In collaboration with logistics, communicates stock constraints and Demand Prioritization to relevant Key stake holders
Facilitates all local Demand related meetings as well as the Regional Demand S&OP meeting (monthly with Country Managers and Global Demand Planning Manager)
Documents Assumptions behind any revisions to the Demand Plan to support Global S&OP/IBP process
Communicates changes/upsides and risk to the Demand plan
Documents and monitors action plans from the Regional Demand S&OP meeting
Ensures Demand Planning activities are undertaken in line with global standards
Manages escalation process for changes to forecast inside lead time
Rolls forecasts where required
Monitors and understands sell-through performance in relation to forecast
Reviews and understands gaps between forecast and budget and communicates these with key stakeholders (This is a long term goal)
New Products managed from HO in first roll out iteration
Strategize and execute the allocation of inventories during peak season
Work cross functionally to provide allocation quantities to stores for new products based on forecast, sales targets, and marketing campaigns
Cross functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Finance, Sales and operations teams

Facilitates Regional Demand S&OP meeting with regional country managers and Global Demand Planner

The annual base salary range is $74,000-$84,000, plus company benefits, bonus and annual merit review eligibility. Actual salaries will be based on years of experience, skills, competencies qualifications.
