About the Delivery Logistics Manager position

We are revolutionizing the industry and need an experienced Logistics Manager who will be responsible for management of supply chain functions including flow of inbound freight, customer delivery, and any third-party relationships. Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Strategically plan and manage the logistics team and functions, ensuring successful operations
- Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
- Supervising logistics, third-party partners, and transportation resources.
- Work in collaboration with the Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure continuous process improvement and success in all Logistics departmental functions including delivery windows and fulfillment
- Manage timesheets, reimbursements, report cards, and related data required for accurate payroll
- Monitor that all documentation including spreadsheets and databases are up to date with accurate information
- Work in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to facilitate recruitment processes, onboarding, and orientation for new team members with a focus on retention
- Develop and coach departmental staff and direct reports to continuously improve team performance
- Remain in compliance with all SOPs and regulations to ensure operational success
- Identify equipment and team needs, and ensure quick communication to escalate and solve
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
- Collaborate with business partners in the Operations team including Warehouse and Planning departments to ensure the successful delivery of products
- Must be willing to get your hands dirty, work alongside the team, and prioritize against tight deadlines

- Provide real-time feedback to all direct reports on a consistent basis

About you:

- 3+ years in Operations Role, preferably in the food & beverage industry
- Experience in high volume, fulfillment or manufacturing environment required
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more, including hourly employees
- Exceptional interpersonal skills working with customers, vendors, and employees
- Computer literate with experience working with Microsoft or Google office suite products
- Warehouse & Logistics Management a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Physical demands and abilities:
- Mobility necessary to work all levels of the building
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Regularly required to stand up to 100% of working shift if required by job responsibilities
- Ability to work in a cold storage warehouse environment with -5 degrees to 55 degrees temperature for long periods of time is required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
