Delivery Dispatcher Job at Griffith Energy Services, Inc.
As a Dispatcher, you will be the one our customers rely on to get product delivered when they need it! You will assign and communicate routes to drivers with Energy and manifest's, follow up on Driver and Customer Delivery questions, and more. Job Responsibilities
As a Dispatcher, you will be reporting to Management at various levels, updating and assisting Drivers & Technicians and more. You will use your communication and active listening skills to devise the most efficient solutions to the situations that arise.
Specific duties in this role will include:
- Communicating with other Dispatchers, Drivers, Technicians, Managers, Departments, Customers, and Companies.
- Process and maintain delivery reports and daily paperwork.
- Maintain bulk plant inventories to approved Company levels
- Contact customers by phone to notify them of deliveries if specified on the Acct.
- Follow up on Driver and Customer Delivery Questions and Updates
- Schedule and Route Daily work efficiently to maintain company metrics
- Organize and keep up with Paperwork and SOX requirements
Requirements:
As a Dispatcher, you must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both individual and team environments. You must also be organized, highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customer and co-workers.
Specific qualifications in this role will include:
- Superior Problem Solving skills
- Excellence in Customer Service, and solid Interpersonal Skills
- Candidates must also be comfortable with the MS Office Suite(Word/Excel/PPT), MS Outlook, Computer & Web navigation
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to read and understand Maps & GPS
- Prior dispatch experience is a plus!
