The Deli Assistant position is part of a team that helps feed over 6500 employees on the corporate campus in Issaquah, Wa. Position is Monday - Friday with 8 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 5:00 am – 5:00 pm. Competitive pay starting at $17.50-21.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

Prepares and packages hot and cold food products for sale to employees and guests at several Corporate Office locations. Stocks supplies and ingredients. Maintains a clean work area. Cleans and sanitizes department and equipment. Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines. Cashiers and provides prompt and courteous service to employees. Rotates to all work locations and all tasks based on department demands. Required or recommended experience, skill, education, etc

Approachable, friendly, customer service oriented personality.

Able to work with all levels of employees, supervisors and managers.

Flexibility to deal with multiple responsibilities and projects.

Mechanical aptitude and/or working knowledge of a functioning Kitchen and or Catering standards and processes a plus, but not required.

Ability to operate equipment or machinery such as Soup pot, tilt skillet, stove top, grill, flat-top grill, broiler, deep fryer, ovens, refrigerated tables, reach in and walk in cooler and freezer, blast chiller, ice machine, hot box, hot display, hot pass-through window, steam table, heat lamp, commercial meat slicer, chopper, mixer, food processor, can opener, pizza oven, knives, metal chain mail gloves, kitchen utensils, cash register, and calculator.
