As a Data Collection Specialist – Associate you will:

• Assist in providing technical Information Technology (IT) and Test and Evaluation (T&E) data collection support to IT programs that support Department of Defense (DoD) warfighting and business operations and organizations.

A week in the life of a Data Collection Specialist – Associate:

• Meet all IT/NSS IT data collection objectives, goals, and requirements on time and within budget.
• Work with senior team members and develop data collection and data analysis methodologies based on types of IT/NSS T&E being supported E.g. Developmental, Operational, Interoperability, or Standards Conformance and Compliance.
• Help plan, schedule, and conduct technical IT National Security Systems (NSS) T&E data collection tactics, techniques and procedures for data collections and analysis.
• Have familiarity of DoD directives and instructions and familiarity with T&E interoperability, operational testing, and developmental testing of IT/NSS.
• Assist with planning and coordination of all assigned task order data collection activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the JITC organization's T&E mission.
• Assist in the development of assigned data collection methodology, guidance, policy or instruction ensuring government data collection procedures are followed.
• Help document new and ongoing data collection requirements for the government customer and their DoD customer clients.

• High School diploma and 1+ years of professional/military experience
• DoD Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
• 1+ years of experience with hands-on experience Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project are needed.
• Ability to articulate and implement DISA, DoD and JITC connection and security procedures and requirements for any data collection program development or sustainment.
• A basic understanding of the DoD 5000.01 Acquisition process and guidance and how IT/NSS Capabilities are tested regarding Developmental, Operational and Interoperability Testing programs and methodologies is beneficial.
