T-Rex Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to support the development of products using cutting edge technologies as part of a large new modernization effort supporting GSA named Acquisition Streamlining and Standardization Information System (ASSIST) Optimization. The candidate will be an integral component of a team of passionate and enthusiastic IT professionals and has tremendous opportunities to contribute to this new program. The ASSIST program aims to optimize and develop products in a Cloud platform for enterprise-wide use. These products include modern enterprise applications accessible and responsive via any device (web/mobile).

Responsibilities:

• Create logical data models for GSA ASSIST user community consumption
• Apply Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques for applicable data models
• Design, develop, and document updates of reports, data access logic, user roles, and interfaces to support stakeholder requirements using change management and agile/rapid development processes for capturing, reviewing, approving, and testing requirements to ensure proper configuration control, traceability, and integrity
• Perform Business and Technical Analysis, Data Analysis, Process Analysis, Data Governance, Data Reporting, Testing, and Data Warehouse operations and maintenance in support of stakeholder requirements, maintaining existing data feeds while maturing and integrating new feeds of data from Line of Business partners
• Ensure projects adhere to standards, methodology, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to obtain Federal Government Public Trust clearance
• 5+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science of related field can substitute for years of experience: Associates Degree replaces 3 years, Bachelors Degree replaces 6 years, and Masters Degree replaces 8 years of experience.
• Ability to perform Data Transformation and migration using AWS technologies and open source tools
• Ability to automate operations and workflow procedures for data transformations
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, web services, Application Programming Interfaces
• Strong data management and transformation experience to provide efficient solutions and strong focus on business outcomes
• Experience using Agile, and/or other lean methodologies

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc.
