Darlington - Day Porter Job at SOUTHCO
We are hiring qualified candidates to join our Day Porter Team. We provide maintenance and cleaning services for commercial properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely drive to commercial properties during assigned hours
- Work independently to complete an assigned route of service each shift
- Walk the perimeter of commercial property to remove any trash
- Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Working in all seasons and weather conditions
- Clean all sidewalk elements such as trash cans, benches, drink machines, etc.
- Wipe clean all window sills and sweep cobwebs from the under canopy and under awnings
- Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- Visual inspection of the property for repairs needed or liability issues and reports these to supervisor/corporate staff
Ideal candidates would:
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid driver’s license and provide a current 10-year driving record
- Be able to pass a background check and pre-employment and random drug screens
- Bring a great attitude and commitment to team success
Some other details:
- On-the-job training is provided
- Starting wage range is $13.00-$16.00/hour with opportunity to advance
- We pay 75% of your medical insurance!
