What we need
MAHAR is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide in-plant technical support to drive tooling-related efficiency and achieve cost savings for our customer in Warsaw, IN.
- You have at least 3 years of knowledge and experience in the tooling industry and tool management
- You have an associate's degree in a related field
- You have proven cost savings experience
- You are comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets regularly
- You have an ability to cultivate relationships
- You have strong communication skills
- You are driven and focused on results
We would love it if you have
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working under a similar discipline
- Machine operator and/or programming experience
- Experience with ERP systems
What you’ll do
50% - Engineering – Reviewing CPU reports, UTCs, Overconsumption and High Cost Tooling as well as data analytics and machine processes
40% - Continuous Improvement Activities – Tool testing and providing options for new technology
10% - Rework – Inspecting all tools to be sent to manufacturer for regrind or rebuild
Industry Experience
- Automotive, Medical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, and Aerospace
