Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our current customers by providing them with the highest level of customer service. The CSR is the bridge between the customer’s needs and our operations team. This role is responsible for contacting our customers on a regular basis to process coffee and product orders to support their business. To be successful one must take the opportunity in every interaction with our customers to learn their business in order to anticipate their needs. The goal is for every customer to experience Dillanos, not as just another vendor but as a business partner. Additionally, a CSR will assist with customers who walk into the facility for will calls, questions, or meetings.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Customer Order Creation – Take customer orders through regular interaction. Be knowledgeable of the customer's order history. Be able to identify any order anomaly that could affect the customer's business needs. Willingness to suggest new coffee or product to help grow the customer's business.
Maintaining Customer Relationships – Through regular interaction, create and sustain relationships with each customer. Create and implement new ways to grow this relationship through collaboration with the Business Development Team.
Inter-Departmental Collaboration - Liaison between customer and Dillanos regarding coffee & product orders. Works with other departments as needed to resolve customer concerns and ensure the customer has what they need to operate their business. Takes full ownership of the accuracy of each customer’s order.
Skills Requirements & Physical Demands:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – verbally, over the phone, and in writing
- Resourceful and able to operate under pressure with limited information
- Works well with a team but can operate independently
- Ability to efficiently use computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook 365 etc.
- Strong organization skills in the midst of frequent interruptions
- Strong attention to detail while still being efficient
- The ability to continually sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs, as well as comply with Dillanos Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
