We are looking for a confident problem-solver who is flexible, self-motivated, and open-minded. Someone who embraces change at every corner and loves that no day is the same. We need a customer-focused collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Customer Service Representative will:

• Answer customer calls for price quotes, purchase orders, change orders, and cancellations.
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls.
• Assist walk-in customers when applicable.
• Dispatch field crews for after-hours emergency calls (“taking phones”)
• Achieve and maintain rapport with customers to give them the best possible service.
• Follow up with customers to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Operations department regarding scheduling.
• Collaborate with outside sales reps to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure new accounts are set up in a timely manner.
• Accurate file and document maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge on product lines and industry standards.
• Prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner.

The Customer Service Representative for Buyers Barricades must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to multi-focus
• Confidence and enthusiasm
• Adaptability and agility
• Solid critical thinking skills
• Traffic control, safety and/or construction experience is a plus
• Microsoft Suite skills
